Specially developed for liquid applications when sample volume exceeds 30ml. It is an extremely flexible instrument, delivered with an external stainless steel beaker which includes overhead stirring (standard configuration). For particular applications it could also be directly connected to a glass beaker or inside a polymerisation or crystallization reactor. Sample flow is generated by an integrated membrane pump. The operating procedure includes information on sample quantity, volume sampling and numbers of analysed particles. As in all the Occhio wet dispersion instruments, the flowcell core is supplied with different spacer thicknesses. The choice of an appropriate spacer delivers you sharper image and reduces sample dilution, which improves reliability of the measurement.
Image resolution is one of the key aspects of image analysis based instruments. Our HR option comes with an ultra high resolution sensor. This sensor offers you sharper imaging with only minor optical calibration.
Data and images of every single particle are stored in an Occhio binary database. The instrument is driven by Callisto software, which controls the entire analysis: ‘SOP’, statistic, reporting and data storages.
